Easology Wins Westcoast’s First Samsung Knox Innovation Award

We’re delighted to share that Easology has been presented with the first ever Samsung Knox Innovation Award from Westcoast, recognising the way we use Samsung Knox technology in our smartphones and tablets.

The award was handed over at a partner event hosted by Westcoast and Samsung at Samsung KX in King’s Cross, London, where partners came together to hear about the latest Samsung Knox developments and the opportunities they open up.

What is Samsung Knox?

Samsung Knox is the security platform built into Samsung devices, right down to the hardware. It protects the phone from the moment it’s switched on, and it lets devices be set up and managed safely.

Why it matters to our customers

Knox is a big part of how we make Easology feel calm and simple. It helps us deliver every phone ready to use, with our easy Home screen in place, while keeping the reassurance of Samsung’s security underneath. Our customers don’t need to know anything about Knox to benefit from it: it simply works in the background, so they can get on with calling, messaging and staying in touch.

For many of the people we help, worries about scams and “pressing the wrong thing” are what stopped them owning a smartphone in the first place. Building on Samsung Knox means we can take those worries seriously without making the phone any harder to use.
